Overview

The I-O 5794ip Twinax Controller connects IBM and IBM compatible Twinax display stations and printers to an AS400-iSeries host via TCP/IP over an Ethernet LAN. The I-O 5794ip is ideal for those who are migrating their AS/400-iSeries to an Ethernet environment.

Eliminates the need for expensive IBM Twinax Work Station Controllers

In locations requiring remote access, the I-O 5794ip replaces expensive remote
controllers

No need for high-priced leased lines or expensive DSU/CSU modems

No re-cabling – continue to utilize existing Twinax or twisted pair cabling

Supports up to 56 logical sessions (4 sessions per device)

Supports up to 4 AS/400-iSeries hosts
